Background
Pete was an undergraduate engineer at the University of Cambridge when he fell in love with the whole Bayesian paradigm during a masters project on inference of musical notes from an audio signal. He is now cogitating towards a
PhD in particle filtering algorithms for various challenging classes of model.
Research Interests
Pete's research generally revolves around Bayesian inference (particularly with a sequential flavour), Monte Carlo methods, tracking and cardiography.
Publications
Google scholar maintains a lovely database which it seems redundant to replicate here.
Teaching
Some notes here which may be of use for the engineering tripos part 1B mathematics paper.
