PhD Thesis Title: Mathematical Advancements in Geometric Algebra for 3D Registration Problems
Supervisor: Prof. Joan Lasenby
Funding: EPSRC (
EP/S023917/1)
Current Role
Awarded the prestigious EPSRC Doctoral Prize for 2024, I am currently working as an Innovation Expert Fellow at Heriot-Watt University where I lead projects that apply machine learning/computational methods to solve industrial challenges.
Background
My academic and research focus is on advanced mathematics and computational science. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Mathematics from the Open University, an MSc in Applied Mathematics from Heriot-Watt University and an MSc in Robotics and Autonomous Systems from the University of Lincoln. As part of my doctoral research, I was employed at
MathWorks where I developed mathematical models and algorithms for computer vision and improved 3D data analysis and optimization. My broader professional experience also includes leading efficiency-focused projects and managing R&D workflows within cross-disciplinary teams to drive innovation in scientific and technical domains.
